I had fond memories of family road trips as a kid. I remember being crammed into the backseat of the family car with my brother and venturing to new destinations while crossing my fingers the entire trip that he didn’t get sick on me as the car lulled back and forth. Hoping to create similar memories (minus the car sickness) with my two teenagers, the three of us ventured out for what would be a 2700 kilometer road trip. The trip took us from Halifax through north eastern New Brunswick, around Gaspésie peninsula to Riviere du Loup, across to Charlevoix, Quebec via ferry , then to Quebec City and return back to Halifax through north western New Brunswick. Phew. What did I learn along the way? Plenty.
